WHO WE ARE

At Faith Bookstore & Gift Shop, our mission is to nourish the healthy intersection of faith, family and friends. Founded on Guam in 1959, we are a relationship-focused, non-profit Christian establishment dedicated to providing inspirational resources that foster stronger relationships throughout Guam, Micronesia and beyond.

WHAT WE DO

Islanders from all walks of life, including spiritual seekers and anyone in need of encouragement, families, homeschoolers, teachers and churches enjoy our wonderful array of inspiring books, music, audio and movie DVDs and CDs, bibles, apparel, gift ideas, artwork, home décor and more. We offer a large array of motivational and instructional books as well as books on classical literature,fiction, and biographies for adults and children. We feature books and supplies for arts and crafters, musicians, homeschoolers and churches. Our Christian book resources are vast, with Micronesian language Bibles, and many versions of the English Bible, Bible references, commentaries and dictionaries. And our widely popular selection of greeting cards and unique Guam and Micronesia paintings, apparel, bags, books, maps, gifts and décor make us a one-of-a-kind shopping destination.

OUR LOGO

A Fish, Cross and Triangle.

Our logo represents Christian community, Jesus our Lord, and the Trinity. The simple Fish symbol was used by early Christians to recognize one another. In the Greek language, the word for fish is ΙΧΘΥΣ (ichthys). From these letters, “ichthys,” early Christians made an acrostic: Iesous Christos Theou Yios Soter, which means Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior. The Cross, an early device for executing criminals, symbolizes Jesus sacrificing His life for ours. The Triangle represents the Trinity, which is how the Bible presents God – three persons in one Godhead.
